Blueberry Spinach Green Smoothies

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (if using fresh you will need to add some ice to your smoothie before blending)
  • 1 fresh or frozen medium banana
  • A little honey, stevia, or maple syrup to sweeten (optional)

The Add-ons

  • 1 tablespoon flax or chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup additional frozen berries of choice
  • 1 serving of your preferred protein and/or green superfood powder

DIRECTIONS

Add the ingredients into your high speed blender and blend for 30-45 seconds or until the desired consistency is reached.
