No prohibited chemicals:
We have a zero tolerance policy for chemical herbicides and pesticides. Instead, we focus on soil fertility, integrated pest management, and OMRI-approved biologicals to keep our crops healthy
Flipside Farm is now officially part of the Just Farmed family! On the surface, not much has changed (YES, your farmers are still here at Flipside Farm gearing up for the growing season ahead). Just Farmed is the delivery arm of our operation, and through our relationships with other farms in the local area, the goal is to improve your experience by improving our flexibility and seasonal variety. While Flipside Farm grows the vast majority of produce for our membership (red oak lettuce, heirloom tomatoes, spring onions, fresh garlic), we sometimes partner with other growers to bring you the crops that are tricky for us to harvest here in Bedminster (a.k.a potatoes & spring carrots). Through Just Farmed, we are excited to offer additional flexibility, which allows you to skip weeks if you are away during the season. Click here to find our more information about how are partnership works.

We look forward to seeing you!
“We strongly believe that healthy food is grown in healthy, chemical-free, biologically active soil. Trusting the integrity of the environment, our farm uses practices that enhance soil tilth, conserve water usage, minimize emissions, and preserve the ecology of the land. Under no circumstance will we compromise the fertility of the land for unnatural gains. Similarly we value the safety and dignity of our farm workers, whom we treat with professional respect.”
Our mission is to provide our community with the highest quality vegetables grown using current and ‘organic’ methods of agriculture. We seek additionally to preserve the ecological integrity of the farm environment, to foster a sustainable American culture founded on eating healthy food, and to provide a working education for young farmers.
What does “Certified-Organic” mean exactly? Good question! Each year, our farming systems are 3rd party audited and reviewing to ensure that we are truly farming according to USDA organic standards. Here are a couple of main highlights:
Love flowers? Us, too! That’s why we are growing 60+ varieties this season. We’d love to beautify your upcoming event(s). Click here for more information.
Throughout the season, we host a variety of social events and educational workshops. Stay tuned!
Our animals are raised outside on pasture 100% of their lives and supplemented with organic feed and veggie scraps.
It takes many hands to keep a farm running. Volunteer opportunities are available! Contact us for more info.
