Meredith has a passion for food, the outdoors and healthy living. She grew up in Pennsylvania competing as a gymnast and later went to the University of Maryland on an athletic scholarship. She was always surrounded by healthy living and understood the importance of good nutrition. After 12 years working at a healthcare publishing company she then decided to pursue her passion of making it easy for others to enjoy farm fresh produce by way of Just Farmed. Meredith currently resides in Westfield NJ, is the owner of both Just Farmed and FlipSide Farm in Somerset County NJ (www.flipsidefarm.com). In addition to raising 3 school age children with her husband, she helps to bring local farm produce to restaurants and retailers by way of managing the NJ/PA sales region at Zone 7.
Farm Manager and Co-founder of Flipside Farm
Taylor James is entering his 4th season as the co-founder and farm manager at Flipside Farm CSA. Prior to opening Flipside, Taylor assisted at a small livestock farm in West Cornwall, CT with beef cattle, layer hens, pigs, and lambs. Taylor then spent three growing seasons down at Fernbrook Farm CSA in Chesterfield, NJ as Assistant Farm Manager. As a prior Yale graduate and coordinator for local farmer education org. NJ-CRAFT, he strongly believes in the collective power of local, sustainable agriculture and is passionate about cultivating the land at Flipside Farm. Lindsey grew up in the seacoast area of New Hampshire. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire she made her way down towards DC where she furthered her education at Georgetown while exploring the melting pot of food and markets. After 13 years in the legal field and over 10 years raising her 2 children, Lindsey is thrilled to merge her love of food with her professional skills. This is her 5th year with Just Farmed. Accounting and Billing Manager
Gretchen grew up in Mountain Lakes, NJ and graduated from Bucknell University. She spent 15 years at Johnson and Johnson in their accounting and marketing departments. After having 3 children and spending 10 years volunteering she’s been spearheading the accounting and billing operations with Just Farmed and Flipside Farm for the last two years. Elisa is a native of Bethesda, Maryland and a graduate of the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio. She lives in Westfield with her husband, three children, and Ollie the dog.
Jenn has been with Meredith since she started her business. She is the website admin and designer for all things Just Farmed. She is a survivor of the NYC advertising world, and for the last 18 years has owned her own Graphic and Web Design firm, White Wave Graphics. She grew up in East Brunswick, and graduated from Syracuse with BFA in Communications Design. For the last 15 years, (after being a 13 year Hobokenite), she is happily living in Westfield, with her husband, two kids and a fabulous Mini Goldendoodle named Scout. Lucy grew up in Westfield NJ. Her passion for organic foods began as a child. She was raised by immigrant Sicilian parents who cultivated a large vegetable garden, fruit trees along with raising several animals and pets. She has been an active part of the community by doing volunteer work and most recently retiring from the Westfield Board of Education after 25 years of dedicated service. This role fed her constant passion and love for children. She is a very proud mom of two grown children, one step-grandson, one granddaughter and is very excited to welcome two more grandchildren this year.
Jessica lives in Scotch Plains. She loves to travel, ski, eat and sit on the beach with a book.
