Cabbage Salad Recipes
Corn and Red Cabbage Salad
- 2 cups cooked corn kernels
- 1 cup sliced red cabbage
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss to combine.
Israeli Cabbage Salad
- 10 oz. shredded red cabbage
- 4 tablespoon light mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Place cabbage, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a salad bowl. Mix to coat cabbage. Chill for 1 hour and serve.
Northern Woods Red Cabbage Salad
- ½ small head shredded red cabbage
- 1⁄2 cup salad oil
- 10 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon seasoning salt (Lawry’s)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
Combine all dressing ingredients and whip; pour over cabbage and toss. Marinate several hours or overnight.
