RESOURCES

Flipside Farm CSA is connected with many local and state-wide organizations which support our organic, ecological growing practices. We’ve included several organizations below in case you want to further explore!

NOFA New Jersey

The New Jersey chapter of the Northeast Organic Farming Association has been an incredible resource to your farmer since the beginning of his career. NOFA NJ is dedicated to supporting sustainable food and agriculture throughout New Jersey. They offer organic farmer support, educational classes & workshop, conferences, volunteer opportunities, and more. We are active members and thankful for the educational scholarships we’ve so far received!

NEW JERSEY C.R.A.F.T

Short for Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training, this group of small farms primarily in the Central NJ and Eastern PA area provides workshops and farm tours specifically for participating farmers.  Not only do the farm tours provide valuable insight on a variety of small farm topics – from organic production methods to soil experiments to budget workshops – but the CRAFT group is a friendly, fun set of farmers full of social support too.

Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture

PASA has a similar scope and influence as its neighboring organization, NJ NOFA.  And as Flipside Farm is just a mere 30 miles from PA, we reap the benefit of much of their education support as well.  They too have a wealth of information available through their website.

NJ Farm Bureau

No Farmers No Food!!!  The Farm Bureau advocates at the local and state level on behalf of all farmers. They represent all farmers alike and are integral for helping to pass legislation on municipal, county, and state levels.  As active members of the Farm Bureau, Flipside Farm is able to have its agricultural voice heard at monthly meetings in Somerset county, NJ.

Jersey Fresh

Jersey Fresh is strong marketing program put forth by the State Agricultural Dept and advocates for fresh, locally-grown NJ produce.
